An hour away from beautiful Da Lat City, there is a small farming village called Don Duong where the cheese factory of Pizza 4P's is located.
Every morning, they use freshly produced milk from their partner farms and carefully make each cheese by hand.
Burrata is one of the signature cheeses at Pizza 4P's. The outside thin shell is a curd of mozzarella while the inside contains a mixture of curd and fresh cream. As Burrata means "buttery" in Italian, it has mild and creamy flavor.
Homemade artisan cheeses from Da Lat
Pizza 4P's established their cheese factory in Da Lat in 2011 to supply fresh mozzarella cheeses to its own restaurant. At the beginning, they had to start everything from scratch- from finding a dairy farm to designing the product package. Today, they have more than 20 professional staffs and produce more than 400 cheeses every day.
Currently, there are two Japanese cheesemakers working at their factory. Mr. Konuki is the founder of the factory and is in charge of the daily operation. Mr. Kubota studied cheese making in France for 6 years and received a French national certificate in professional cheese making. After working at a cheese factory in Hokkaido, he joined Pizza 4P's and is currently engaged in new product development.
Under their strict quality control, Pizza 4P's has been producing a wide variety of homemade cheeses that includes Camembert, Mozzarella, Mimolette, and etc.
Authentic Burrata cheese made in Da Lat
Burrata was originally produced in Puglia, a region in Southern Italy. Burrata's outer shell is a curd of mozzarella while the inside contains a mixture of curd and fresh cream. As it has an extremely short expiration period because of the use of fresh cream, it is known to be very difficult to get even in Italy.
With farm-fresh milk and professional skills, Pizza 4P's has succeeded to produce Burrata cheeses in Vietnam. As soon as they make Burrata in Da Lat, they pack it in salt water and immediately ship it to Ho Chi Minh city. It's extremely fresh and as Burrata means "Buttery" in Italian, it's rich, mild, and buttery

How to eat Burrata Salad
Lightly mix rocket with extra virgin olive oil and put all the ingredients on a plate. Sprinkle salt and pepper on a Burrata cheese and then drizzle balsamic vinaigrette over the salad.
